PARTICK THISTLE FC - JAGS TRUST FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE

After initial discussions to establish common ground, Partick Thistle FC and The Jags Trust have agreed to form a working party with a view to creating a major new fundraising scheme designed to appeal to all Thistle fans and friends of the club. This is a joint initiative, the first attempt at merging the passion of the supporters and the marketing potential of the club into a genuine commercial partnership, and will build upon the strengths of the current 1876 Club and proposed Centenary Fund. As soon as possible, the outline of the agreed scheme will be presented to the board of the club and to the members of the Jags Trust for their approval and, if given the go ahead from both sides, it will be launched early in the New Year to mark the start of the club's Firhill centenary celebrations.
